Stygimoloch spinifer is a herbivorous ornithian dinosaur belonging to the Pachycephalosaur group that lived in the area of present-day North America during the Late Cretaceous. Perhaps Stygimoloch is the young adult form of Pachycephalosaurus.

Description
The type species Stygimoloch spinifer was named and described in 1983 by Peter Malcolm Galton and Hans-Dieter Sues. The genus name means: "devil of the Styx", from the Hebrew juggernaut, "demon", a reference to the Hell Creek formation where the fossil was found and the diabolical "fierce" appearance that the animal forms. The species name means "thorn-bearing" in Latin and refers to the spines at the back of the skull.
