Honey badgers belong to the same family as weasels, and like those spiny creatures, honey badgers are quite solitary. They keep to themselves and certainly stay out of the public eye, usually only forming groups to mate. Babies are an exception: young kittens often stay with their mothers for so long that they outgrow her.
